The four-legged celebrities will be joining their two-legged counterparts on the red carpet at the Lili Claire Foundation(R) benefit dinner hosted by "Friends" Matthew Perry, and concert at the Santa Monica (Calif.) Civic Center on Oct. 4. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Lili Claire Family Resource Center at UCLA.

The Lili Claire Foundation provides social and medical services to ANY child living with ANY neurogenetic condition -- all free of charge. Drs. Foster and Smith have joined with the Foundation in a pilot therapy dog visit at the Lili Claire Center at the Family Resource Center hospital at UCLA; and to explore further opportunities there, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Renown Medical Center in Reno and Meharry Medical College in Nashville. The hope is that such visits will bring both joy and genuine medical help to adults and to their children who have been affected by Williams Syndrome.

Drs. Foster and Smith will sponsor a Family Room at Saturday's charity event featuring animals and celebrity guests, including Wanda Goldberg, host of the Drs. Foster and Smith "Faithful Friends" TV show on Animal Planet, who will be interviewing the celebrities, both human and canine. Also visiting the Family Room will be Susie Kerwin and her therapy dog Julie, Joel Silverman and his dog Foster, and "Greatest American Dog" Presley with his human, Travis.

Also participating will be David Frei, known as the "Voice of the Westminster Dog Show," an ardent supporter of the "Angel on a Leash" therapy dog program. David and Uno, who have visited kids at hospitals from coast to coast, will be joined by Travis and Presley on the second season of "Faithful Friends" on Animal Planet.

In addition, Dr. Race Foster of Drs. Foster and Smith will be joining the festivities in the Family Room.
