Tree.com CFO Goes to Jail to Combat Muscular Dystrophy

Tree.com and Mr. Packey were tapped as community leaders in the effort to
raise money for the MDA. Mr. Packey is hoping to spend as little time as
possible in jail, set up at the Ballantyne Village Theater. "I've challenged
my co-workers, friends and family members to help me get out of jail through
their donations. What I'm afraid of is they'll donate money but negotiate a
deal to leave me in there," he laughs. "My goal is to raise MDA combats neuromuscular diseases through programs of worldwide research,
comprehensive medical and community services, and far-reaching professional
and public health education. With national headquarters in MDA supports more research on neuromuscular diseases than any other
private-sector organization in the world. MDA scientists are in the forefront
of gene therapy research and have uncovered the genetic defects responsible
