Hyperic Inc., the leading provider of web application performance monitoring software for the datacenter and the cloud, today announced the appointment of Matthew Stodolnic to the newly created company position of vice president of marketing. Stodolnic, who joins the Hyperic executive team after seven years with Salesforce.com, will be responsible for the company's overall marketing strategy and further expansion into cloud computing.

Stodolnic brings more than 15 years of marketing experience at both start-ups and Fortune 1000 companies to help guide Hyperic's fast-paced growth. He has worked for successful technology companies during their early stages of development within the enterprise software and Software as a Service (SaaS) industries. Prior to Hyperic, he served on the management team at Salesforce.com, where he was responsible for online demand generation, global Web strategy, advertising and branding.
