ANX and Grid4 Networks Connect

TROY, Mich., Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Grid4 Communications provides dedicated circuit connections to the ANX Network(R).

Grid4 Communications and Automotive Network Exchange (ANXeBusiness) have executed an agreement for Grid4 to become a Certified Service Provider (CSP) for the ANX Network and deliver connectivity for companies wanting to connect to the world's only multi-provider virtual private network.

The ANX Network user community requires reliable network uptime and high availability to support the transmission of mission-critical data, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and confidential financial information. In addition, Grid4 is enhancing their customers' experience. Grid4 and ANX will deliver future IP applications over the existing IP infrastructure, giving a competitive edge to ANXeBusiness customers.

"This strategic partnership illustrates Grid4's ongoing commitment to, and accelerated leadership in, the IP Communications' services market. We look forward to delivering productive and proven IP Solutions to both ANX and customers served by the ANX Network for many years to come," says Grid4 Senior Vice President, Mike Hopkins.

ANX, headquartered in Southfield, Mich., has offices in Research Triangle Park, N.C., Overland Park, KS, Philadelphia, PA, Cleveland, OH, San Diego, CA and Toronto. It provides a range of Managed Network Service, Transaction Delivery Service, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) products and services for customers in the automotive original equipment and aftermarket industries, healthcare, education, government, financial and aerospace industries as well as other manufacturing and service sectors.

"Adding Grid4 as a Certified Service Provider and strategic technology partner is important to ANX and our customer base," said Jim Michels, ANX Vice President, Marketing and Sales. "Having strong technical partnerships is key for ANX as we continue our ongoing evolution, and Grid4 will be an important part of our future growth."
