The addition of Autolog to the United Road national logistic network will serve to increase the company's retail, single-unit and northeast regional business capabilities with the addition of over 100 national pick-up and delivery locations. The Autolog acquisition is United Road's first since being acquired by the Gores Group, a Calif.-based private equity firm, in November 2007. The acquisition is a result of United Road's ongoing national expansion efforts and the Gores Group's commitment to continuously advancing the size and scope of United Road's logistics network.
