Utilizing the experience of its Legal Enterprise Solutions group, IKON will leverage its portfolio of comprehensive document management technologies, and on-site managed services, including IKON Service ExcellenceSM, IKON’s award-winning service methodology, and the IKON TRAC SolutionSM, IKON’s web-based enterprise management application.

Fried Frank is a leading international law firm with more than 650 attorneys in offices in New York, Washington, DC, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong and Shanghai. Fried Frank lawyers regularly represent major investment banking firms, private equity houses and hedge funds, as well as many of the largest companies in the world.

In order to elevate service levels and reduce expenses in key functional departments, Fried Frank looked to providers to outsource its mail center, copy center and maintenance services areas in its New York and Washington DC offices. “As an international law firm, Fried Frank faces unique challenges to meet client service delivery demands,” explains Susan Scattergood, Fried Frank’s Director of Operations. “IKON’s Legal Enterprise Solutions group demonstrated its extensive depth and knowledge in providing world-class managed services for the specific needs of the legal industry.”

IKON’s on-site managed services team will manage Fried Frank’s copy center in their Washington, DC office, and their fax services, mail center, porter/housekeeping services and supplies management in their Washington, DC and New York offices.

For each service, IKON will utilize IKON Service Excellence, a methodology that leverages nationally validated operations and proven best practices, providing on-site processes that ensure optimal document efficiency for customers. Fried Frank will also use the IKON TRAC Solution, a unique web-based application designed to seamlessly manage resources, assets and services, maximizing operational efficiency.

“We are pleased that Fried Frank selected IKON to meet their enterprise document management needs,” explains Vic Rainsford, Vice President, Managed and Professional Services, IKON Office Solutions. “IKON is a leader in managed services, and has been providing process and workflow analysis as well as detailed outsourcing solutions for law firms and corporate counsel for many years. As part of our expertise, IKON helps manage our customers’ entire document workflow, including on-site copy and mail centers, imaging and production work, records management, and other document services.
