Richard Davies wrote: The UK has a good crop of technology pioneers in cloud computing - for example ElasticHosts, FlexiScale, Flexiant, OnApp - and also some strong government initiatives such as G-Cloud. We will have to see whether this kind of technical leadership converts into swift mass-market adoption or not.

In many cases, the end of the year gives you time to step back and take stock of the last 12 months. This is when many of us take a hard look at what worked and what did not, complete performance reviews, and formulate plans for the coming year. For me, it is all of those things plus a time when I u...

SenSage and McAfee, Inc. Strengthen Relationship to Drive Sales of Integrated Enterprise Security Solutions
SenSage Chosen to Participate in New McAfee Sales Teaming Program

Enterprise software leader SenSage, Inc. today announced it has been chosen by McAfee, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) to participate in the new McAfee Sales Teaming Program.

This invitation-only program is an expansion of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance(TM) (SIA) and provides SIA partners with a more proactive and mutually rewarding selling model. Under the program, SenSage, which was named 2008 McAfee Most Innovative Technology Partner, and McAfee will work together to promote the award-winning joint solution. Customers will benefit from reduced costs, increased compliance and a more secure environment.

"SenSage has been an outstanding partner and has worked aggressively to demonstrate innovation in its integration with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator software," said Joe Gottlieb , vice president of Corporate Strategy and Technology Alliances, McAfee. "With our new Sales Teaming Program, we are extending our relationship with SenSage to capitalize on its award-winning technology to bring our customers a solution that reduces costs while increasing compliance."

SenSage pioneered the enterprise log management and security information and event management (SIEM) markets and delivers the industry's most scalable and customizable solutions, built on the industry's only patented log data storage and analysis platform. The company has further evolved its technology to create advanced event data warehouse software solutions, which are optimized for precise querying and correlation across event data sources to address new emerging use cases for a security data warehouse.

The SenSage software allows organizations to demonstrate due process for compliance, forensics, insider threat response, control of privileged user activity and monitoring of access to sensitive data use.

With the SenSage solution for McAfee(R) ePolicy Orchestrator(R) (ePO(TM)) software, mutual customers are able to use McAfee ePO dashboards to view in-depth reports on log data from virtually any McAfee product. SenSage was the first partner to integrate summary reporting into ePO software, delivering the power of SenSage's event data warehouse to give ePO software users more information in a single console.

As a result, customers can not only access comprehensive SenSage compliance, security and summary reports but also gain a complete 360-degree view of all user and network activity and in-depth forensic capabilities through the SenSage event data warehouse. Benefits include reduced costs, increased compliance and a stronger security posture in an environment where the velocity of attacks continues to rise.

"McAfee is a strong market leader, and over the past several months, we've proven the value of our integrated solution with mutual customers," said Dan Barahona , vice president of Business Development, SenSage. "We have enjoyed success under the SIA program and look forward to selling and implementing our integrated solutions with the McAfee team under this expanded relationship."

The McAfee Security Innovation Alliance program accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of those products within complex customer environments. Supported by the program, partners integrate their products with McAfee ePO software, McAfee's industry-leading security and compliance management platform, and/or other McAfee products, such as McAfee Endpoint Encryption and McAfee Vulnerability Management Service.

The SenSage integration module with McAfee ePO software is currently available by contacting SenSage sales at salesinfo@sensage.com.
