RightScale Supports Ubuntu in the Clouds
Anticipates the Ubuntu community will be increasingly active in cloud development
Apr. 13, 2009 08:45 PM
RightScale, the cloud manager, says it can now fully support Ubuntu Server with its Cloud Management Platform on cloud infrastructures such as Amazon EC2.
Since Ubuntu is such a fast-growing Linux distribution, RightScale anticipates that the Ubuntu community will be increasingly active in cloud development.
The RightScale Platform now includes a suite of pre-built cloud-ready ServerTemplates for Ubuntu that cover common server configurations - such as scalable web and application arrays, database clusters and grids - and make it easier to deploy, manage and dynamically scale even complex, multi-cloud applications on the automated RightScale Platform.
