Microsoft Nixes Private Use of Azure

Microsoft's unreleased Azure cloud is not meant for private on-premises hosting, the company said.
However, according to Mary-Jo Foley, who published an e-mail exchange with Windows Server product management director Julius Sinkevicius, it looks like an application issue. Applications developed for Azure will run on Window Server, but not all Windows Server apps will run on Azure and those that do need a lot of tweaking first. Reader Feedback: Page 1 of 1
