Several
European countries, plus Canada, Australia, and Latin America will benefit from
the launch of SYS-CON's family of international websites on July 4. Now in beta
form, the sites integrate the best of SYS-CON's global i-technology coverage,
including breaking news, technical articles, and leading industry blogs, with
local coverage from a global network of correspondents. “SYS-CON’s
international sites will offer a selection of content from all i-technology
topics we cover every day, in addition to the local breaking news, views,
events, and interviews with technology leaders and opinion makers in these
countries,” said Roger Strukhoff, president of SYS-CON International. “Our
readers who live in these countries will land on their country SYS-CON home
page and be greated in their own language before they navigate themseves to a
certain section of our site.” Strukhoff recently met up with several of the global correspondents who will be contributing to SYS-CON's international efforts. He is working to ensure that SYS-CON provides information that is optimized for each country's IT culture, expectations, and informational needs.
